No. 1 – Put your Minecraft bed next to theirs.

This is the ultimate display of affection and love. If you truly want your significant other to believe that you only have eyes for them, it is crucial that you have your Minecraft beds placed directly adjacent to one another’s. If possible, the beds should match in color, but this is not a necessary step.

No. 2 – Send uber-specific Valentine’s memes to your significant other.

The true form of communication for the “youngsters” these days are memes. Personally, memes are my love language because they are a great way to express your truest feeling to the one who means the most to you. I’ve created some memes for you to try out:

No. 3 – Send a good morning text.

Start your Valentine’s day right by sending one of these variations of the basic good morning text:

  • “Dang shawty, are you a traffic violation for parking on campus before 5 p.m. because you have fine written all over you.”
  • “Bro, you are so swag.”
  • “Good morning doo-doo head.”
  • “I don’t know if I have COVID but the thought of you sure makes me breathless. Good morning.”

No. 4 – Make all the eye contact.

This may not seem super important to your relationship, but people underestimate the importance of a good old fashioned intense gaze. Personally, I find eye contact to be absolutely terrifying, but I just know that being able to lock eyes with the person in my heart would fulfill my Jane Austen fantasies.

No. 5 – Take them to the pit.

Now, I understand that the pit currently only offers “grab-and-go” dining options, but that does not diminish the possibility of romance. Bring your significant other to the most elite dining establishment on campus and court them with the ultimate dining experience. There’s nothing like sharing undercooked pit chicken with your significant other.

No. 6 – Make them a Spotify playlist.

This is the modern-day version of a mixtape. Curate the perfect collection of songs to truly exemplify your feelings for your significant other, then share it with them. Better yet, make hyper-specific playlists and never share them because no one appreciates your taste for Norwegian lo-fi.

No. 7 – Match social media bios.

Nothing says romance like matching bios in cute and endearing ways. Matching bios prove beyond a reasonable doubt that a genuine connection exists between the two of you, and can also serve to flex on other people. Ask your significant other to have their bio be the other half of yours today. Here’s one starting idea (but don’t feel limited, get creative!):

“Shawty’s like a melody in my head that I can’t keep out, got me singin’ like” … “Na na na na everyday, it’s like my iPod’s stuck on replay”
