Caroline Walker

I am a senior from Hickory, North Carolina. I am a Mullen Scholar and a double major in English and Spanish. I grew up cheering for the Demon Deacons and rolling the quad as the daughter of two Wake Forest alumni. I am a student leader passionate about giving back to the Wake Forest community through my current roles as Student Trustee on the Board of Trustees and President’s Aide, as well as my previous role as Secretary of Student Government. I am also a member of RUF, Climbing Club, Running Club, Kappa Alpha Theta, the Office of Sustainability and Campus Garden, and the Old Gold & Black.

I am honored to be selected for the Homecoming Court. I represent the Pro Humanitate spirit through her community service and extracurricular involvements and shares it with friends across campus. I am an eager volunteer in philanthropic events on and off campus. My favorite campus tradition is Hit the Bricks, in which I have participated every year and enjoy for the way in which it brings the Wake Forest community together for the common goal of raising money for cancer research. Even when I am not running laps around Hearn Plaza, I have a boundless energy for helping others and giving back to both the Wake Forest and Winston-Salem community. I enjoy tutoring Hispanic elementary school children at Latino Community Services, as well as growing and harvesting produce in the Campus Garden alongside other students. Through these endeavors, I hope to empower others to also become leaders in true Pro Humanitate spirit.
