Larceny

• Unknown subject(s) removed a pair of tennis shoes from a secured room in the Miller Center. The report was filed on August 20 at 1:25 p.m.

• Unknown subject(s) stole equipment from construction site at Salem Hall. The report was filed on August 23 at 1:57 p.m.

• The offender picked up victim’s wallet by mistake in Bostwick. The wallet was returned to the victim. The report was filed on August 24 at 11:49 a.m.

• Victim’s items were picked up during move-in by another male in Dogwood. The report was filed on August 25 at 10:07 p.m.

Underage Consumption

• After a loud noise complaint, underage people were found in an apartment with alcohol in North Campus Apartments. Only one person was 21 years of age. The report was filed on August 21 at 10:17 p.m.

• Offender was found intoxicated in the bathroom of Bostwick. She had hit her head at some point in the night and bruising and a bump were visible. The report was filed on August 22 at 12:14 a.m.

• Offender had attended an off-campus party and became intoxicated. They were transported to WFUBMC from Johnson. The report was filed on August 24 at 12:21 a.m.

• Offender fainted after an RA dispersed a party in Babcock. The report was filed on August 24 at 9:56 p.m.

Miscellaneous

• Offender tore name tags from residents’ doors in Polo. The report was filed on August 23 at 8:33 p.m.

• A large party of Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) students was dispersed in Quantum Court at Deacon Station. A former WSSU student was arrested for disorderly conduct. All vehicles at the party displayed WSSU parking decals. The report was filed on August 24 at 12:31 a.m. 

• A party hosted by Sigma Alpha Epsilon on Macon Drive was attended by uninvited guests, who were causing a disturbance when asked to leave. No citations were issued. The report was filed on August 25 at 12:37 a.m. 

• An Aramark employee in Benson Food Court received a threatening phone call from an ex-boyfriend. The report was filed on August 26 at 6:46 p.m.

• A student, while exiting a vehicle, was struck by a car door from an unknown SUV that left the scene on Allen Easley Drive. A friend of the victim took them to WFUBMC in a vehicle. This was reported by a friend while at the hospital. Winston-Salem Police are following up with victim at hospital. The report was filed on August 26 at 4:08 p.m.

• A student admitted to smoking marijuana and was cited. Other students were in the room with the offender in Kitchin. The report was filed on August 26 at 7:44 p.m.
