“Dune”

“Dune” might have been the best theatrical experience I’ve had all year. I was fortunate enough to catch it on opening night in IMAX with my friends and experience the first part of this saga. 

This film will sweep all the below-the-lines awards, especially considering that Hans Zimmer, one of the most acclaimed film composers in modern cinema, created entirely new sounds for this movie. I would expect it to win most of its 10 Oscar nominations and deservedly so. This is one of my must-watch-in-theaters selections for this year, and hopefully seeing Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya on the big screen together is enough for the price of admission.
