Junior Andrew Wilson, a history major with minors in Latin American studies and English, has served on the Student Budget Advisory Committee (SBAC) the past two years. Also, he is a Student Government senator serving on the Physical Planning Committee. Additionally, WIlson is also on the Mock Trial team and involved with the Baptist Student Union.
SBAC is the organization within Student Government which helps fund student organizations. Having served on SBAC alongside the current Treasurer, Wilson believes he has the experience and knowledge to be a Student Government Executive. He believes that SBAC has had great leadership and wants to continue to help student organizations grow.
If he is honored to be elected Treasurer, Wilson would like to make SBAC funding guidelines clearer and more publicized. He will hold workshops with organizations to better understand how SBAC can help students on campus. Additionally, he wants to provide more resources for student organization treasurers.
