The Office of Admissions just released admissions decisions to 12,500 applicants to the potential Class of 2023. As the admitted class takes shape, here is a look back at historical admissions statistics.

According to Dean of Admissions Martha Allman, 29 percent of applicants were admitted for a target class size of 1,373. 44 percent were admitted early decision and 33 percent are students of color. These numbers are consistent with previous years’ cohorts.

Wake Forest traditionally draws large numbers of high-performing students, including many from North Carolina. The admitted class also represents 48 states, with the exceptions of Montana and North Dakota. Six percent of the admitted class are international students.
